Todd founded KNA Capital Management in 2024, establishing a firm built entirely around his investment philosophy: patiently owning quality businesses led by thoughtful stewards of shareholder capital, acquired at a fair price.
Leveraging over 20 years of experience forged at institutions including The Vanguard Group, The Motley Fool, Morningstar, Johnson Investment Counsel, and Ensemble Capital Management, Todd oversees the firm’s overall investment approach and manages the firm’s Core Equity strategy.
Dedicated to fostering investment knowledge, Todd teaches corporate finance and investments and advises a student-managed ESG equity portfolio at The University of Dayton. He is also a a member of Manual of Ideas (MOI) where he regularly presents to the network of leading investors.
A respected voice in the investment community, Todd ‘s insights are frequently sought after across various media, including appearances on podcasts such as Business Breakdowns, Yet Another Value Podcast, and Compounders. His research and commentary have been published in the Financial Analysts Journal, Investors Chronicle, and Morningstar Magazine. He contributed to Morningstar’s book, Why Moats Matter (2014), and authored Keeping Your Dividend Edge (2016).
Todd earned the right to use the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation in 2014. He is a member of the CFA Society of Cincinnati and Manual of Ideas (MOI).
